ICC recently revealed in the investor interactive platform that Inter Sunrise (300308.SZ) has always focused on the R&D and innovation of optical module technology, and continues to promote product iterations and updates in the direction of high speed, miniaturization and low power consumption, which can meet the demand for larger bandwidth, higher speed and lower latency networks for various advanced application scenarios in the future.
In the first half of 2022, CIIXC achieved revenue of RMB 4.231 billion, up 28.30% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 492 million, up 44.49% year-on-year. With the increase in the proportion of high-end products such as 400G and 200G shipped and the continuous cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, the gross margin of the products also improved, and the integrated gross margin was 26.79%, up from 25.57% in FY21 and 25.43% in FY20.
In the first half of this year's results report, the company's 200G/400G and other high-end optical module products have accounted for a high proportion of operating revenue, and the company is also the world's earliest supplier to release, test and certify 800G optical module products, with industry-leading technical advantages, and has received bulk orders for 800G from large overseas customers, and will be shipped in mass production in the fourth quarter of this year.
The 800G module will be shipped in the fourth quarter of this year. The relevant research report shows that: China LiDAR market size is expected to reach $4.31 billion by 2025, achieving a CAGR of 63.1% compared to 2019, of which the in-vehicle sector, namely driverless and advanced assisted driving, is a major component. Since LIDAR optical components and optical module components technology homologation; some component manufacturers overlap; the underlying process and technology, optical communication and LIDAR have some commonality, so the long-term accumulated technology platform and production line of optical communication manufacturers have some reusability.
We have set up a professional team to give full play to the advantages of technology, process, supply chain, equipment and production capacity accumulated in the field of optical modules to assist LIDAR customers to further reduce BOM cost and improve product performance and delivery capability. CIIXC is designing and developing several core optical modules (both 1550nm and 905nm) for LIDAR, and has already obtained some contracts from customers, which is expected to form a new profitable growth point in the LIDAR OEM field.
